I know I have said this before, but I love Jon Stewart. The Daily Show and The Colbert Report are (to me) the most entertaining, smart, and interesting shows on television today. We watch every night that these shows are on.
Tonight, Madeline Albright was the guest tonight, talking about her new book, The Mighty and the Almighty: Reflections on America, God, and World Affairs. Interestingly, I had heard her interviewed on NPR this afternoon, so I knew what her themes were. Jon Stewart always takes things in a slightly skewed direction, though. So, when she spoke about George Bush's belief that God wanted him elected president, Jon commented on how it's too bad God was doing such a bad job in Iraq. Cracked me up. Maybe you had to be there...
That's a good line. I don't watch his show, but it sounds like the sort of thing I'd enjoy.
I like Madeline Albright. I think we need more knitters in government and less people who think God is directing their every effort. ;)

I don't watch The Daily Show that often anymore...(fell out of the routine when we moved Stateside)...but I caught that interview and, yes, it was funny. :)

Your blog is gorgeous! It seems like every time I come over here, it's different. I love Jon's deadpan delivery, and his sarcasm. That's my kind of humor!
