Ahhhh...that's the sound of ME, finally getting to take a breath from this job I have been working on. Yea! I got the pictures back to my client for review and then I took off. Didn't do anything particularly exciting but did sit and have some coffee, wandered around a very cool quilting store (No, I DO NOT need another hobby, thank you), picked up stuff for dinner, etc. It was just a relief to get out of the house.
Adam finally got home from his 4 days down at Willamette U., visiting with friends before he goes off to Scotland. The sad news: his GF broke up with him and he is very down about it. He doesn't try to mope, so he was in his room with the door shut. But mom just wandered in (after knocking, and with a good reason...I needed to know if he wanted anything from the grocery store) and he was in there listening to some sad music and looking bad. I sympathized with him and told him I DID know how he felt cuz I had been broken up with many times, myself. But he said he knew it would come to this, since he was going around the world to go to school and all. But a mom really feels bad, anyway.
In addition, I got a call that one of my cousins just had twins (and before you congratulate me...the bad news...)and she is in intensive care with some sort of toxemia and is needing blood transfusions and she is critical. The babies are good, but she is not. So, more worrying and praying.
There was some good news, though. I called Bonnie last night and she is so happy, she is practically floating. She LOVES her school, her new friends, her room, her classes...all good. At least I don't have to worry about her...
So glad to hear Bonnie is happy. My prayers for your cousin. Chris is happy too, as is Jess, except she has an infection from the removal of her wisdom teeth. Antibiotics on the way!
