We went out to see "American Treasure" tonight. It was not very good. We chose that film over "A Series of Unfortunate Events" and "A Very Long Engagement" (my two top picks) because Bonnie wanted to see it. She goes back to college in a week and she is looking for freebies from Mom and Dad before she leaves. It had lots of plot holes and lots of 'and just why would they do that?' moments. John and Bonnie liked it better than I did. I would recommend trying something else, if tempted.
I had to go to the car dealer this morning and 'ransom' my car back. The clutch was slipping, badly, last week and the car has been in the shop ever since. My gosh, it was expensive, almost $1500! Yikes...I have a 2000 Saab 9-3 and I love it, but it is very expensive to repair. It had a four year warrenty but that is expired now and I didn't buy the extended warrenty. I heard someone on NPR saying that if you had a somewhat expensive car and you planned on keeping it past the warrenty period, you should definitely buy the extended warrenty...now, why hadn't I heard that in 2000? Live and learn, and pay for it, too...
Extended warranties and missed opportunities are just no fun. In the end it sounds like you love your Saab (and who wouldn't?!), so I hope this is the last of the pricey fixes!!

That is outrageous, but at least, Saabs are very safe. Our older daughter saw A very long engagement and thought it was a fabulous film, although extremely depressing.
