With exactly one week to go till his 17th birthday, Ross had finally gotten his permit. AND he had to be pushed to do it. Amazing. His brother and sister insisted on heading straight for the DMV when they had their 15th birthdays, but Ross has resisted for so long. Okay, now I have to sign him up for Driver's Ed...
This is off-topic, but I just had to comment on your new header. LOVE IT. I like how you change it according to the zodiac changes. Can't wait to see mine (Gemini!). :)

I was 15 when I got my license (back then New Mexico allowed you to get a license at 15), but I suppose if you live in a place where you don't need to drive and the mass transit is good, no big rush. In L.A. it is a challenge without a license/car, but when I lived in Denver it was so easy to walk down the street and grab a bus.
Where's your IF drawing?

It is funny how some kids want to rush and get their license and others don't care... hopefully it will make him a smart and good driver!

What's the rush? I was 25 when I got my permit. And I still haven't gotten around to having those lessons. Hurtling towards the big 40 sans-licence. Still, it wouldn't be much use in Amsterdam, and wasn't in inner-city Melbourne either.
