Yay, Bonnie is home safely and today is her birthday. We went out for sushi last night and that was a blast. We went out to the Original Pancake House for breakfast with her aunt and uncle (visiting from Amherst, MA) and that was delicious!
We part ways tonight with John and I and the in-laws going out to the Pink Martini concert at the Zoo, while Adam and Bonnie and friends go out to The Bite of Portland and go to a concert by The Decembrists. All are looking forward to it...
Bonnie is enjoying her new iPod Mini, picking songs to put on and putting together playlists. I am listening to Jane Eyre (on CD) and doing Photoshop stuff. I am really having a wonderful time with Jane Eyre; it is so different to hear it aloud versus reading it. Way back in the 1840's, it must have rocked those women out of their boredom and given them a romantic thrill.
Hi ! I can't beleive you can listen to books and use Photoshop at the same time...wonder if i could learn to speak French and do that? Anyway, I tagged you for a questionarie but can't access your contact button so link over, you' re it!

I love Pink Martini! Always so much to do in Portland. Salem has its moments, but they're sporadic. Sometimes I miss being a little more northward.

Ah, you're bringing back some wonderful PDX memories for me...Pink Martini, the Bite, Original Pancake House. I loved the Bite (and my boyfriend played music there most years.) So fun.
