I thought that "E is for Eavesdropping"...this illo is a mix of Illustrator image and old painting (Lambert Sustris: Scene of a Birth, 16th Century). Trying something to stretch myself a little.
I was inspired by the film Pride and Prejudice, the family was always eavesdropping on each other, and Elizabeth's pride was hurt by Mr. Darcy early in the film when she eavesdropped on his conversation with Bingley, and he pronounced Elizabeth to be 'Not handsome enough to tempt me.' Sometimes you overhear something that you would rather not, right?
My fave movie, and a wonderful naughty eavesdropping illustration!

Cool image!
In my youth, I once quit a job because I overheard a manager talking disparagingly about me when she thought I'd gone. Didn't need to work in that kind of environment!

I am always trying to eavesdrop because I am such a curious person. Unfortunately, my hearing is not as acute as I would like. Have you ever thought about what a WEIRD word eavesdrop is?

I am an amazing eavesdropper - can hear multiple conversations around us and keep track. The husband says I should contract out for the CIA.
I like this interpretation as well as the colors.
