Tonya @ Kingfisher Cove

When I see these Hubble shots, I try to get my head wrapped around just how IMMENSE of a scene we are viewing. And it just ends up boggling the ol' head. Talk about a wide-angle lens.

simply glorious!!!!!!!! mesmerizing and inspiring

Although I'm way too much of a scaredy-cat to ever go up in space, I am sort of fascinated by what's OUT THERE. That photo is UNREAL...even more so because it's not. :)

OK, we just have to get together my next trip to the PNW... I too am a major fan of Hubble and all things spacey! Have you checked out the Astronomy Picture of the Day site: http://antwrp.gsfc.nasa.gov/apod/ A difference picture every day...in fact, I first saw the picture you featured here on this site a couple of weeks ago.

To be able to actually see any of space would be so awesome! My ultimate dream is to see the Earth from space...our wonderful home in our minute corner of the sky.

That doesn't even look real! The message is that nature can be so much more beautiful than anything that humankind can produce.

This one is particularly beautiful. I've seen some others and they are mind-blowing as well.
So much for the vast empty, black vacuum of space we were taught as kids, huh?
