We got the bad news yesterday that my dad's psa levels indicate that the chemo doesn't seem to be working. So...we are going in for full scans in a couple of weeks and then a change of chemo tactics. I am worried that he will start feeling the pain of having cancer in his bone, which he so far has not, and that the new chemo will not be as gentle on his system as the last chemicals were.
I am SO not happy about this...
I am giving you the hugest hug. I know how it feels now to have a parent with cancer. My heart, my prayers and my thoughts are with you and your dad and family during this time. I mean that with the fullest of hearts.

My prayers for your Dad, Diane. I'm sure the doctors will figure out the best treatment for him. My MIL is dealing with the same sort of problem what with trying to treat an aggressive disease with out the treatment causing more problems than good.

Diane, I'm so sorry to hear this. This has to be so difficult for all of you. Hugs to you, and I sure hope the new tactics work, but aren't too harsh for your dad.
