Adam's drive home was long, but not snowy/icy/hard till he got to Salem. The hour-long drive from there to here took him FIVE HOURS!!!
Seriously...
But he is home now and we are very happy for it.
Christmas, though...well, our church cancelled Christmas Eve services. We won't be able to make it to my brother's home tomorrow and neither will anyone else in the family. We are all hunkering down in our own houses, doing individual Christmases...now THAT is a first!
I am so glad you are all safe and warm-- I have been thinking of you as we watch the weather in your part of the world!! I know how it feels to be buried in snow-- sending best wishes to you and HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Five Hours??? I still cannot believe all the snow you guys are getting. Some of the photos I've seen of folks pushing out cars, etc., well, it makes me worry for you. I mean, snow is not exactly something all of you get on a regular basis. So stay safe! Glad Adam made it.

I'm so GLAD that he's home, and many times hunkering down and staying home with family is the most fun of all!
