The Portland Chinese Garden had a free open night. This was the end of their Chinese New Year celebration. I thought to myself that it was a great opportunity to try out nighttime photography.
It was gorgeous there. They had these lovely little floating flowers, with a light inside, that they floated on the pond. And then there were some folks carrying shaped lanterns.
Here are a few of the photos I took.

Thanks for all the kudos. I like the way they turned out but I still need more practice...making keeping the f stop at something bigger than 4.0 for more clarity overall.

Thanks for the kudos on the photos...it was fun and instructive. And YES, if you are in Portland, you need to check this place out. It is amazing.

What a beautiful place. I've been to Portland so many times, and never been there. I need to visit.
